CONCORD – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be making shoulder repairs on U.S. 601 North next week, weather permitting.
One lane will be closed between Sunderland Avenue SW and Old Charlotte Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday to fix the area damaged from recent heavy rains. A second lane will remain open to traffic.
Drivers are encouraged to remain alert and use caution approaching the work zone.
