HARRISBURG – The N.C. Department of Transportation plans to close Stallings Road between Robinson Church Road and Hickory Ridge Road on Monday morning, March 8, weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for maintenance crews to replace a cross pipe under the road. The road is scheduled to reopen by March 26.
Drivers south of the closure can take Rocky River Road, Robinson Church Road, Tom Query Road, Caldwell Road and N.C. 49 to get around the closure.
An alternate detour to the north can be used via Harrisburg Veterans Road, Stallings Road, Hickory Ridge Road and Rocky River Road.
Access to areas within the closure will be maintained.
