WINSTON-SALEM – A section of a Forsyth County road will be closed next week while crews replace a failed drainage pipe under the pavement.
Walkertown-Guthrie Road is scheduled to be closed just south of Deamon Court from 7 a.m. Monday through Friday afternoon.
A signed detour will be in place using U.S. 158, N.C. 66 and West Mountain Street to access points on either side of the closure.
This work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working in this area and allow extra time for the detour.
