DANBURY – Next week, the N.C. Department of Transportation will close a Stokes County road for several days for a maintenance project.
Beginning Monday at 7 a.m., Dillard Road will be closed in both directions near N.C. 772 while crews make shoulder repairs to a pipe outlet. Work is expected to be complete by Friday.
Traffic will follow a detour using N.C. 772 and Dodgetown Road to return to Dillard Road.
Motorists should use caution in the area and while using the detour.
