MARSHALL – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will officially open the new Marshall Driver License office for business on Feb. 22 following a ribbon-cutting ceremony today. The new full-time office will open to the public at 8 a.m. Tuesday at 1685 N.C. Highway 213, Suite 4.
“We are excited to be back in Marshall to open this full-time driver license office,” said DMV Commissioner Wayne Goodwin. “This is a special day for all of us as we’ve worked on this project for nearly two years.”
The new office replaces the previous office on North Main Street in Marshall, which closed in March 2019.
Commissioner Goodwin was joined at the ceremony by Marshall Mayor Nancy Allen, members of the town’s Board of Aldermen, Madison County Board of Commissioners Chairman Mark Snelson and Marshall Police Chief Mike Boone.
The Marshall office hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, but will close for lunch each day from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
