STATESVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will temporarily close a lane on Interstate 40 today for an emergency pothole repair.
One lane of I-40 West over Beulah Road has been closed to allow crews to safely fill a pothole. Work is expected to be complete by tomorrow.
Drivers are advised to remain alert and use caution when approaching work zone.
