DENTON – The N.C. Department of Transportation plans to close part of a road in Davidson County for a maintenance project next week.
On April 18, East Peacock Avenue will be closed to replace a failed drainage system under the roadway near its intersection with Daniel Street. Work is expected to be complete within two weeks.
Motorists are advised to use South Main Street, N.C. 47 and N.C. 109 as a detour while work is ongoing.
Motorists should remain alert when approaching the work zone and while using detours.
