WHITSETT – A Guilford County road is scheduled to close for five days while N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews perform drainage repairs.
Beginning July 11 at 9:00 a.m., Wheeler Bridge Road will be closed to traffic between Herron Road and Shoe Road. The road is expected to reopen July 15 at 5:00 p.m.
During this time, a
detour will guide traffic on to Herron Road, N.C. 61 and Shoe Road.
Motorists should remain alert and slow down as they travel near the work zone.
