GREENSBORO – The U.S. 29 north ramps from Interstate 40 and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Greensboro will close this weekend to allow contractors to pave.
The northbound ramps will be closed on Aug. 19 at 10 p.m. They are expected to reopen on Aug. 21 at 6 p.m., weather permitting.
The detour will route traffic down I-40 to merge on to I-785 and then back onto U.S. 29.
Motorists need to slow down, be patient and pay extra attention as they travel near the work zone.
