GREENSBORO – Beginning Saturday, N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will implement a ramp closure on U.S 29 North (Business 85) between mile marker 128 and mile marker 129 in Guilford County.
The ramp will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
NCDOT contractors will pave and place barrier wall along U.S. 29 North from the ramp at Interstate 40 to South of Florida Street. To complete the work safely, extra space in the open roadway is needed.
An onsite detour will be provided routing traffic down I-40 East to I-785 then merging back onto U.S. 29 North.
Drivers should be cautious and alert when approaching the work zone.
