HALIFAX – N.C. 903 near a busy junction with N.C. 125 outside the town of Halifax will be closed in both directions on Monday for a drainage pipe replacement.
Maintenance crews from the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to begin the closure at 8 a.m. and hope to complete the project and repave the road before reopening it by 6 p.m. the same day. They will replace a metal pipe that has begun to fail.
A detour will send drivers onto N.C. 125, Reese's Store Road and U.S. 301.
