GARNER – Drivers trying to get from U.S. 70 West to Interstate 40 West will be rerouted this weekend as work continues on the Complete 540 project.
Crews plan to complete new ramps connecting U.S. 70 West to I-40 West between 10 p.m. Friday and early Monday morning.
To do so safely and efficiently, U.S. 70 West will be closed at N.C. 42 (Exit 320) and will be detoured down N.C. 42 West to access I-40 West.
Drivers on U.S. 70 West and those wanting to get on U.S. 70 West from N.C. 42 should anticipate this short detour and plan their commutes accordingly.
