WINSTON SALEM– N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will perform maintenance work on a Forsyth County Bridge Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting.
Travel will be reduced to two lanes on Interstate 40 westbound from mile markers 193 to 192 near South Main Street to perform work on the bridge that crosses I-40.
The closures will be in place starting at 9 a.m. All lanes are expected to reopen by 3 p.m. each day.
Drivers should expect delays in the area, slow down and obey all signs posted in the work zone.
