CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will start a sidewalk project next week on N. Davidson Street, requiring a temporary closure between Donatello Avenue and 37th Street.
The closure will start Monday, Sept. 25, continuing up to 30 days. A detour will be in place for non-local traffic along E. 36th Street, U.S. 29/N. Tryon Street and Sugar Creek Road, returning to N. Davidson Street.
Local access will be maintained to homes and businesses during construction.
