RALEIGH – Crews plan to close a ramp from Interstate 440 to Wade Avenue late tonight, after football traffic has subsided.
The ramp from eastbound I-440 to westbound Wade Avenue is set to close for nine days, starting about 1 a.m. tonight and reopening ahead of the morning commute on Oct. 9.
A detour will have drivers continue on the Beltline and take the Lake Boone Trail exit to Blue Ridge Road to access Wade Avenue.
Drivers should factor this detour into their commutes and be cautious throughout the work zone.
