TAYLORSVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation invites the public to learn more about a developing project to improve traffic flow on N.C. 127 between Cloninger Mill Road in Catawba County and Richey Road in Alexander County.
The proposed project will widen N.C. 127 to four lanes with a 23-foot-wide grass median and include a right-turn lane to Bethlehem School Road. Other proposed improvements include a new bridge over Lake Hickory next to the existing bridge for southbound traffic.
A public, drop-in style meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. March 28 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 7500 N.C. 127 in Taylorsville. People may attend the meeting at any time discuss the project with NCDOT staff.
