FAITH– An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close a road in Rowan County for about seven months for a bridge replacement project.
Beginning at 8 a.m. on Jan. 22, St. Paul's Church Road will be closed between Old Concord and Faith Road to allow crews to replace the two bridges that carries traffic over Crane Creek. Work is expected to be complete by the end of July.
During the closure a signed detour will guide drivers onto Heilig Road.
Motorists are advised to use extra caution and plan accordingly for delays due to the detour.
