State Ferry Division to Host Brunswick County Career Fair Feb. 7

​SHALLOTTE – People are welcome to attend a career fair Feb. 7 in Brunswick County to learn about embarking on a rewarding new career with the North Carolina Ferry Division.

The career fair, hosted by the Ferry Division and NC Works, will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Brunswick County Career Center, 5300-7 Main St., Shallotte. 
 
Applications will be accepted for current and future positions at all experience levels, including entry-level parking lot attendants, office staff, shipyard tradespeople and experienced boat captains. Temporary and full-time permanent positions are available.

The Brunswick County career fair is the first of five to be held across eastern North Carolina. Others will be held at the Beaufort County Career Center in Washington  Feb. 12; the NC Works Career Center in Wilmington Feb. 21; the NC Works Career Center in Morehead City Feb. 28; and the College of the Albemarle in Manteo March 6.
