RALEIGH- Construction crews will close the Interstate 440 East ramp to eastbound Wade Avenue on Sunday night for a traffic shift as part of the I-440 improvement project.
The ramp will close at midnight on Sunday, reopening the following morning at 5.
As a detour traffic will need to take the Lake Boone Trail exit and I-440 West back to Wade Avenue.
Drivers should slow down and be alert for crews and equipment going through the work zone.
