DURHAM- A section of Interstate 85 will be improved thanks to a contract awarded by the N.C. Department of Transportation.
In total, 2.4 miles of I-85 will see new paving, signing, and signals starting at the Orange County line to U.S. 15/501. Crews can begin work late spring with substantial completion late fall of 2025.
