FAYETTEVILLE – State highway maintenance workers will repair a failing crossline drainpipe underneath McArthur Road in northern Fayetteville next week.
The work will require the road to close in both directions at Hatfield Lane, or halfway between Ramsey Street and Stacy Weaver/Rosehill roads.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Dec. 16 and last until the work is finished, hopefully by the following morning.
Drivers should be mindful of a longer commuter using the detour on Ramsey Street and Stacy Weaver Road, and be cautious near the closure.
