CLINTON - Several all-way stops will be installed at intersections across Sampson County.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will add pavement markings and stop signs at the following locations:
McCullen and Keener roads on Feb. 3;
Dunn and Autryville roads on Jan. 22;
Minnie Hall and Dunn roads on Jan. 22; and
Tew and Baptist Chapel roads on Feb . 4.
Drivers should be alert in these areas while crews work to install the new traffic patterns.
After safety reviews, which include examining traffic volumes and crash patterns, NCDOT determined an all-way stop was the most cost-effective way to improve safety at the four intersections. To learn more about an all-way stop, visit this webpage.
