NCDOT Now, the department's weekly newscast. St. Patrick's Day Booze It & Lose ItThis week the Governor's Highway Safety Program launched its St. Patrick's Day Booze It & Lose It campaign with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and participating law enforcement agencies.
North Carolina drivers can expect to see increased patrols and checkpoints through March 17. Last year, law enforcement agencies statewide issued 784 DWI charges during the campaign.
Remember to never drink and drive. If you do plan to drink, always arrange for a sober ride home.
Marshall License Plate Agency ReopeningThe last of the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles' Offices that were closed due to damage from Hurricane Helene reopened on Tuesday.
The Marshall License Plate Agency had been closed since Sept. 27. The agencies offer vehicle registration services, title transactions, license plate renewals, and other services
