U.S. 17 Intersection Improvements

​​​STIP Number U-6065

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes improvements to the U.S. 17/N.C. 172 and U.S. 17/Old Folkstone Road intersections in Holly Ridge. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic flow along U.S. 17 and address intersection safety concerns.

A public meeting is scheduled for:

Monday, July 29, 2019
5-7 p.m.
Folkstone Original Free Will Baptist Church

Holly Ridge

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design. The public can view project information, submit comments and receive email updates at NCDOT's ​public input portal​​​​​​​​​​​​.​​​​

The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.

Public Comment

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.

The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be submitted via phone, email or mail by Aug. 30, 2019.
