Sam Hunt IV currently serves as the president of Hunt Electric Supply Co., a family owned electrical distributor with eight locations across North Carolina. He has worked for Hunt Electric, holding several roles over the past 22 years.
Hunt also is the president of ESLSupply.com, an online retail business started in 2013 providing products including energy saving lighting, electrical, camping, hunting, fishing and survival supplies.
In addition to his membership on the N.C. Turnpike Authority Board, Hunt also serves on the board of Pet Adoption Welfare Society (PAWS) of Alamance County.
Prior to Hunt Electric, Hunt graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Hunt and his wife, Krista, are Burlington residents and have a 23-year-old daughter, Deia, that lives in Portland, OR. When not serving in his many roles, Hunt likes travelling, golfing, hiking and spending time in the mountains of North Carolina. His term on the N.C. Turnpike Authority Board of Directors runs from 2020 to 2024.
