STOKES — A section of Oakley Road, near
Big Oak Road, will close for about three weeks to allow N.C. Department of
Transportation crews to safely replace a damaged drainage culvert that runs
under the road.
The closure will be in place from 8:30 a.m., June 14 through June
29th. Traffic will be detoured to Oakley Road, Big Oak Road and Station Mill
Road.
Transportation officials urge motorists to use caution while
traveling through the area and observe signs with detour or construction
information.
