WHITSETT – N.C. Department of
Transportation contract crews will close a small section of Old Julian Road between Mt. Hope Church Road and Rock Creek Dairy
Road while crews replace an existing culvert underneath the roadway in Guilford
County.
Crews will close the roadway starting at 9
a.m. on Monday, June 11, and will reopen the road when work is complete by 8
p.m. Monday, July 30, weather permitting.
Motorists
will be able to detour around the work using Mt. Hope Church Road and Rock Creek
Dairy Road.
Transportation officials advise drivers to watch signs for
construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
