CSX Transportation will perform track and signal work on the
railroad causing 30 to 60-minute delays for all trains arriving and departing
Richmond Staples Mill station. Amtrak service will be affected on the dates
shown below:
June 10
- Trains 79 and 80 will operate between Rocky Mount and Charlotte,
only. No alternate transportation will be provided between New York and Rocky
Mount.
- Trains 89 and 90 will operate between New York and Washington,
D.C., only. Trains are cancelled between Washington, D.C. and Savannah, with no
alternate transportation provided.
June 11
- Trains 79 and 80 will operate between Rocky Mount and Charlotte,
only. No alternate transportation will be provided between New York and Rocky
Mount.
- Trains 89 and 90 will operate between New York and Washington,
D.C., only. No alternate transportation will be provided between Washington,
D.C. and Savannah.
