CONCORD – As work continues on the
Interstate 85 widening project in Cabarrus County, contract crews will temporarily close a driveway into the Copperfield Centre off Concord Lake Road beginning Thursday, June 21.
The closure is needed to safely connect the roadway with the new Concord Lake bridge, and should last up to two months. Access to the shopping center will be available from Copperfield Boulevard.
Motorists are encouraged to pay attention when approaching the work zone, obey the posted speed limit, follow
