APEX – The N.C. Department of
Transportation will hold a public meeting this week regarding a proposed project
to make improvements to U.S. 64 from just west of Laura Duncan Road in Apex to
U.S. 1 in Cary.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 21, from 4 to 7 p.m.
at the Summit Church, 3000 Lufkin Road in Apex. Interested residents may attend
at any time during the meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be
made.

assist in identifying other issues and areas of concern within the project study
area, NCDOT requests public participation in a survey located on the project
website: https://publicinput.com/U-5301-US64-Apex-Cary.
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and
listen to comments regarding the project. Comments may also be submitted via
phone, email, or mail by July 21. Comments received will be taken into
consideration as the project develops.
