CONCORD – The N.C. Department of
Transportation is closing a section of Roberta Road near Fountainview Avenue in
Concord so crews can safely replace a failing cross pipe under the roadway.
The road will close at 9 a.m. Monday, July 9 and open Thursday,
July 12, weather permitting
During the closure, motorists will be detoured along George Liles
Parkway, U.S. 29 North, U.S. 601 South and Old Charlotte Road, returning to
Roberta Road.
