REIDSVILLE – Department of
Transportation contractors will start replacing a deteriorating pipe on Lick Fork Creek Road starting Monday between Ruffin and Reidsville
in Rockingham County.
Work will take place starting
July 9, at 9 a.m. The road will reopen by 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 13, weather
permitting.
Drivers can detour around the closure
using Quick Road, Park Springs Road and U.S. 158 in both directions.
The department encourages motorists to pay attention
when approaching the work zone, obey the posted speed limit, and allow extra
time to reach their destinations safely.
