Public Meeting Set for Proposed Grade Separation at Durham Rail Crossing

DURHAM – The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting this week regarding a proposed project to construct a grade separation at the Cornwallis Road rail crossing of the Norfolk Southern/N.C. Railroad Line in Durham County.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, July 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Frontier, 800 Park Offices Drive in Research Triangle Park. Interested residents may attend at any time during the meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.

As information becomes available, it may be viewed at the NCDOT public meeting webpage: http://www.ncdot.gov/news/public-meetings.

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and listen to comments regarding the project. Comments may also be submitted via phone, email, or mail. Comments received will be taken into consideration as the project develops.
