details:

NCDOT and contract crews will begin a daytime only flagging operation to allow local residents through the work zone.

Area residents will be allowed to travel through — with significant delays — from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The road will close every night.

The operation should last 2-3 weeks until it is safe for traffic to travel at all hours of the day.

Video and sound opportunities will be available. Remember, this is an active construction zone.
