WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will close Business 40 (U.S. 421 Salem Parkway) in both directions between Cloverdale Avenue and Peters Creek Parkway for demolition and bridge removal in Winston-Salem.
This short closure is taking place ahead of the full two-year closure planned starting this fall for of the Business 40 Improvement Project.
Closures will take place from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, until 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5.
East and westbound traffic will be detoured in opposite directions utilizing Cloverdale Avenue, West 1st Street and Peters Creek Parkway.
