Segment of Union County Road to Close Next Week

​INDIAN TRAIL – Contract crews working on the Monroe Expressway project will temporarily close Indian Trail-Fairview Road between Stinson Hartis and Secrest Shortcut roads for one week to continue paving and grading operations.
 
The closure will begin at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6. The road will reopen by 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, weather permitting. Local traffic will have access to the road during the closure.
 
Northbound traffic on Indian Trail-Fairview Road will be detoured along Stinson Haris Road, Oakspring Road and Stevens Mill Road, returning to Secrest Shortcut Road.
 
Southbound traffic will follow the detour from Secrest Shortcut Road to Stevens Mill Road and Oaksprings Road, back to Stinson Hartis Road.
