The 2018 North Carolina Drone Summit and Flight Expo (NC Drone SAFE) will feature speakers, exhibitors and flight demonstrators from across the globe showcasing the present and future of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS, or drone) industry.
The N.C Department of Transportation Division of Aviation’s UAS Program Office is hosting the event to bring together key leaders from the research, commercial and public safety community across N.C. and the nation.
The summit will open Aug. 5, and feature speakers from 5-6 p.m., and a drone racing demonstration from 7-9 p.m. Then, on Monday and Tuesday, the event will feature exhibitors, speakers and panels from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and drone flight demonstrations from 9:30-11:30 a.m. both days.
