CONCORD – Contract crews working on the I-85 widening project in Cabarrus County need to temporarily close a section of the interstate to safely set girders for the bridge taking Moose Road over the roadway.
The northbound lanes will close from exit 63 to exit 68 at 11:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, and reopen by 6 a.m. the next day. During the closure, motorists will be detoured at exit 63 to head west on U.S. 29/601 and back to I-85 North.
