Section of Old Mocksville Road Closed in Iredell County
STATESVILLE – Last night’s heavy rains washed out a section of Old Mocksville Road near Dunlap Gate Road in Statesville. This morning, N.C. Department of Transportation crews are on site to assess damage and determine what repairs are needed.
A detour has been established for motorists along Dunlap Gate Road, U.S. 21, Jane Sowers Road and Old Mocksville Road.
The road will remain closed until repairs can safely be completed.
