MCLEANSVILLE — The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a portion of Birch Creek Road between Knox Road and U.S. 70 eastbound in McLeansville in Guilford County.
“NCDOT crews will begin erecting barricades starting next week in anticipation of future business development in this area,” said NCDOT Engineer Mike Mills.
Traffic will be detoured utilizing U.S. 70, Mt Hope Church Road and Knox Road starting at 9 a.m. Monday Aug. 27.
Motorists must pay attention when approaching this area, obey the posted speed limit, and allow extra time to reach their destinations safely.
