PARKERSBURG – Beginning Monday, N.C. 411 near Greens Bridge Road will temporarily close in both directions so crews can replace a deteriorating storm drainage pipe.
Maintenance workers for the N.C. Department of Transportation will remove the existing place, replace it with a new one and patch the asphalt over it. The new pipe will help reduce flooding and damage to the roadway.
The road is scheduled to reopen by Friday, Aug. 31.
