NCDOT Public Meeting in Wake Forest Postponed

WAKE FOREST – An N.C. Department of Transportation public meeting scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 11, in Wake Forest is postponed because of anticipated heavy rains and wind from Hurricane Michael. The department will reschedule the meeting.

The meeting, about a proposal to convert U.S. 1 (Capital Boulevard) to a controlled-access facility from I-540 in Raleigh to Purnell Road/Harris Road in Wake Forest, was to be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Renaissance Centre in Wake Forest.
