HILLSBOROUGH – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance
crews must close an unpaved section of Arthur Minnis Road at the intersection of
Dodsons Crossroads in both directions in while they replace a failing pipe with
a larger capacity pipe.
Crews will close the road at 8 a.m. on Monday,
April 30. It is scheduled to reopen by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 4, weather
permitting.
Motorists traveling through the area should use Dodsons
Crossroads and Dairyland Road to detour
around the closure.
Transportation officials advise drivers to watch
signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed
limit.
