One travel lane to be open at all
times
Wilmington - Drivers headed west on
Interstate 140 near U.S. 421/U.S. 17 should be alert for temporary lane
closures, starting Monday, April 9.
The closures are needed to allow N.C. Department of Transportation
crews to safely perform a scheduled bridge inspection as required by the Federal
Highway Administration.
The lane closures are scheduled to take
place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily through Friday, April 13. Motorists may
encounter delays through the inspection site.
