JACKSONVILLE – Drivers traveling on the
U.S. 17 bridge (South Marine Boulevard) over the New River in Jacksonville
should expect to encounter intermittent lane closures on Friday, March 23.
The closures are needed to allow N.C. Department of Transportation
crews to safely perform a scheduled inspection. They will take place between 9
a.m. and 3 p.m.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully through the work zone, and
to expect possible delays.
