JACKSONVILLE – Drivers on the U.S. 17
Bypass in Jacksonville should expect to encounter intermittent lane closures in
both directions, one mile north of the start of the Jacksonville Parkway, on
Tuesday, Jan. 23.
The closures are needed so Department of Transportation crews can
safely repair erosion in concrete slabs that was discovered during a recent
inspection.
The closures will be in place from 8:30
a.m. until 5 p.m. Transportation officials urge motorists to drive carefully
through the work zone and to expect possible delays.
