WINSTON-SALEM — N.C. Department of Transportation contractors have completed scheduled pothole repairs on Business 40 near Peters Creek Parkway today; Feb. 27, but will also extend closings for lanes near Liberty Street for bridge deck repairs tomorrow Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. until 3p.m.; weather permitting.
Business 40 will remain closed at three locations:
- Between Main Street and Cherry Street
- At the on-ramp from Liberty Street to Business 40 westbound
- At the off-ramp from Business 40 to Cherry Street.
Drivers will be able to detour around the ramp closures by following signed detours.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert, slow down in the work zone and obey the posted speed limit.
