Closures Tonight for Work on Peters Creek Parkway Bridge in Forsyth County

WINSTON-SALEM — North Carolina Department of Transportation design-build contractors will close lanes along a small section of I-40 Business at the Peters Creek Parkway bridge for work that is part of the Business 40 Improvement Project in Winston-Salem.

A few hundred feet of the inside lanes will be closed in each direction just before and after the bridge starting Monday, Nov. 27 at 9.p.m. Closures will be in place for about 45-days with the exception of holidays.

"These closures will be continual in nature, while crews work to construct the center bridge support for the Peters Creek Parkway Bridge," said Division Nine Resident Engineer Mezak Tucker.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert, slow down in the work zone and obey the posted speed limit.
