WINSTON-SALEM — Transportation officials
will hold a public meeting on Thursday, Feb.8, to seek input on a project to
widen Hanes Mill Road between Museum Drive and University Parkway into multiple
lanes.
The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at
Bethany Baptist Church, at 600 Old Hollow Road in
Winston-Salem.
Interested citizens may attend at any
time, and NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and
receive comments regarding the proposed project. No formal presentation will be
made. Anyone unable to attend the meeting should submit comments and questions
in writing to the department until Thursday, March 1.
The public can view maps displaying the location and design of the
project as they become available online at http://ncdot.gov/projects/publicmeetings/default.html.
