BERMUDA RUN – N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews must close one of two lanes along
a portion of the Yadkin River Bridge on I-40 westbound for two days next week.
The closures are needed between mile markers 181 and 182 so crews can finalize deck and joint repairs that started earlier this month near Bermuda Run.
Work will take place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday March 27 and Wednesday, March 28.
This work is part of the department’s overall
bridge program.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and anticipate possible travel time delays through the area.
